The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that Chris Simms is to be listed as inactive for the game against the New England Patriots on Friday.
Commentary: The story coming out of the St. Petersburg Times has Simms still suffering after-effects from his splendectomy surgery undergone in September. Simms has problems with his proprioception, described in part by Wikipedia as “the sense that indicates whether the body is moving with required effort, as well as where the various parts of the body are located in relation to each other.” So, sort of a drawback for an NFL quarterback. The Times is also convinced that Simms will soon be out of Tampa Bay completely.
Fantasy Football Impact: Simms, bad. Jeff Garcia, good.

“YOUR THE ONE” - LYRICS
Some say you’re crazy
Say that you’re no good
Say your family’s cursed with bad blood
But I think you’re cute and misunderstood
And I wouldn’t change you if I could
Let’em talk you down
Call you names
My mind’s made up
It ain’t gonna change
I’m sure in my heart
Happy and free
You’re the one you’re the one
You’re the one for me
Some say you’re bitter
Think you’re mean
Uncouth untamed and unrestrained
But I think you’re sensitive and sweet
Stay as you are don’t change a thing
Let’em talk you down
Call you names
My mind’s made up
It ain’t gonna change
I’m sure in my heart
Happy and free
You’re the one you’re the one
You’re the one for me
Some say you’re bawdy
Wicked and wild
A restless useless juvenile
But I think you’re funny and I like your smile
Want to be with you want you to stay awhile
Let’em talk you down
Call you names
My mind’s made up
It ain’t gonna change
I’m sure in my heart
Happy and free
You’re the one you’re the one
You’re the one for me
A no count mixed up
Amount to nothing
A day away from a bum on the street
Some low class kind of royalty
That’s what they say about you
When they’re talking to me
Some say you’re bad
A bad bad seed
You love to play with fire you love gambling
But I know what you love and I know what you need
And I like it when you play with me
Let’em talk you down
Call you names
My mind’s made up
It ain’t gonna change
I’m sure in my heart
Happy and free
You’re the one you’re the one
You’re the one for me

As if guaranteeing $425,000 worth of Aruba prize packages isn’t enough of an attraction, a major online poker site today announced that 11-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth will be playing in Sunday, August 5th’s 50-seat Aruba Satellite.
This $500+30 online event guarantees to pay out at least 50 Aruba prize packages worth $8,500 apiece. Each package includes a $5,000+500 buy-in to the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic and an additional $3,000 for travel and accommodations.
What’s more, the player who manages to bust Hellmuth in August 5th’s tournament will win $1,000.
With 12 satellites running daily, Texas Hold’em players can win their way to Sunday’s 50-Seat Aruba Satellite for as little as $10.
The 2007 Aruba Poker Classic is happening in Aruba from September 29th to October 6th. The weeklong tournament gives online poker players the chance to celebrate their successes at the tables with poker’s best professionals and compete for a piece of an estimated $2.5 million in prize money. In 2006, Devon Miller captured the title, taking home $774,960 in cash.

This is no hype.
There is a perfectly legitimate reason why the Black Hat Strategies work so consistently well. It’s almost like you can’t lose when you employ these underground tactics.
Even poker professionals that you see on TV, and in the World Series of Poker are scared to death to run into players who are equipped with this knowledge. They know the power that lies behind the curtain, but you will never hear them talking about this stuff at all.
Don’t you ever wonder why some players consistently hit the final table, time and time again, while others continually suffer the bad luck of weak opponents sucking out cards on the river all the time?
There is a perfect explanation for this, and if you have been getting worked over by these reckless players who call any bet, I want to let you know…
I am going to show you how to ruthlessly punish anybody who is a horrible player.
Sure, they may win a hand or two from you, but after this week you will understand how to leverage these super weak and put tons of cash into your pocket.
Phil Hellmuth Blows Up on Poker After Dark
Matt Savage, a world-renowned tournament director, is on board to oversee UltimateBet’s signature weeklong tournament. For more information on the 2007 UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic, visit UltimateBet.com or ArubaClassic.com.

BetCRIS.com and BetGrande.com were going off the Don Best line screen effective just past 4 pm Monday, ending an era where Don Best had monopolized the online sports betting realm.
Both BetCRIS and BetGrande had begun discussing the departure from Don Best last year. Both will be moving to LineTracker, a publicly traded lines feed that was once owned by sports handicapper, Jim Feist.
“We are simply making a change. Old loyalties have gone by the wayside,” Mickey Richardson, CEO of BetCRIS.com, told Graffiti Wall.
Most of the online sports betting businesses operating offshore follow the BetCRIS.com and BetGrande lines. The two are the oldest established North American-facing bookmakers operating online today.
At one time Don Best dominated the lines feed market. Every bookmaker tracked the Don Best lines, which often helped to highlight “sharp” action.
“LineTracker has the same if not more number of (sports) books as Don Best,” said Richardson. “They don’t have the Vegas books though but in another month or so LineTracker will surpass Don Best by a mile.”
Richardson could not predict how many other companies would follow his and BetGrande’s move, though he suggested others might in the not-so-distant future.
