SAN DIEGO - QB Philip Rivers (foot) is expected to start. Yesterday marked Rivers’ first full practice since spraining his right foot in the regular-season finale December 31. He reported no problems. “I feel good,” he said. “I said 30 minutes after the game it wouldn’t be an issue and it won’t be. Obviously, I’ve been getting a ton of treatment. I did everything (in practice) today. I’m good to go.” Last week, Rivers briefly wore a protective boot and stayed on the sideline as the Chargers practiced during their first-round playoff bye.

Brady was sharp as he hit 22 of 34 passes against a Jets defense that refused to give him a

pre-snap read and brought multiple blitzes. Brady has gone five straight games without throwing

an interception and has only thrown five interceptions in 11 playoff games. However, the scariest

stat of all about Mr. Brady is his record leading at halftime. He is 62-2 lifetime and 9-0 in

playoff games when he heads to the locker room with more points than his opponent.
