MIAMI - G Dwyane Wade (teeth) is expected to miss. Wade had two wisdom teeth extracted Tuesday and will miss tonight’s game against Phoenix. “He’s been playing in great pain,” HC Riley said. “That will take care of it. Probably by this weekend, we hope, he’ll be ready.” After tonight, the Heat is off until games Friday at Washington and Saturday at home against Memphis.

“They think by then he’ll be ready to play,” Riley said. “He’s been in pain. He can’t sleep. We actually numbed it up [Monday] night. I guess he had a pretty bad abscess on the bone.”

GAME 707-708

INDIANA - F Jermaine O’Neal (hamstring) upgraded to probable. O’Neal said he plans to play tonight against Detroit after missing the previous three games with a sore left hamstring. “They really wanted me to get three or four days of rest in and then get back after it,” he said after practice

Tuesday. “I’m going to play. I practiced (Tuesday) with no problem. I got some extra work to get my stamina back up, and I’ll be ready to go.”

F Al Harrington (food poisoning) is probable.

Harrington and guard Marquis Daniels practiced Tuesday after missing Monday’s game at Chicago with what appeared to be a case of food poisoning. Both should play tonight.

GAME 709-710

BOSTON - F Wally Szczerbiak (ankle) is “?”. The bottom line, according to Szczerbiak, is that barring a setback such as swelling in the ankle this morning, he should be well enough to play tonight against the Sixers. “It was good,” he said of yesterday’s workout. HC Rivers wasn’t as convinced. “I’ll go with my prediction that he’ll go, but Eddie (Lacerte, the C’s trainer) is saying that he probably won’t,” said Rivers.

“Eddie didn’t like the way he was moving out there, so he’s not so sure.”

PHILADELPHIA - G Allen Iverson (disciplinary) is out indefintely. The Sixers have said Iverson will remain on the inactive list until further notice.

LA LAKERS - F Lamar Odom (knee) injured last game, out indefinitely. Odom left the game Tuesday early in the first quarter after sustaining a moderately sprained MCL. Odom will be re-evaluated Wednesday. A timetable for his return has not been established. “He’s going to miss some time, HC Jackson said. “I would say we’d be really happy if he’s playing again in January. That would probably be our best case.” “I guess I just twisted it up, sprained my MCL pretty good,” said Odom, who did not know when he would return but tried to sound optimistic. “I have no idea. Maybe a week or two. Hopefully that’s it.”

“TOMMY MAC”, WAS BORN AND RAISED IN A CITY WITH A RICH HISTORICAL LEGACY IN JAZZ, KANSAS CITY MISSOURI. EDUCATED IN COMPOSITION AND ORCHESTRATION AT CENTRAL MISSOURI STATE, CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI AT K.C., AND COLLEGE OF SAN MATEO, SAN MATEO, CA.

STARTING AT THE EARLY AGE OF 10 YEARS OLD, HE RECEIVED NUMEROUS AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES. HIGHLIGHTED BY JAZZ LEGENDS COUNT BASIE AND STAN KENTON IN HIGH SCHOOL.

THROUGHOUT THE EARLY 70’S AND MID 80’S HE TOURED OR PERFORMED LIVE IN CONCERT WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE METIONED GROUPS ONLY TO MOVE TO LOS ANGELES IN 1987 TO FURTHER ESTABLISH HIS SONGWRITING AND RECORDING CAREER.

1994 BROUGHT HIM TO LAS VEGAS, NV WERE HE GAVE MEMORABLE PERFORMANCES AT ALL OF THE MAJOR PROPORTIES AND MUSIC VENUES ON AND OFF THE STRIP. TOMMY MAC WAS HONNERED TO BE THE LAST PERFORMER ON STAGE OPPISTIE THE GREAT “ KEELEY SMITH “ IN THE LEGENDARY STARLIGHTER ROOM OF THE FAMED DESERT INN, WHERE THE WYNN HOTEL RESIDES NOW
